Re: If ????
Wow how did I miss this one?
Even if I knew I wouldn't be caught. I couldn't do it.
I am a terrible flirt sometimes. It is me by nature. My mind instantly goes to the gutter more often than not, and it is out of my mouth before I know what I am saying!
In my "old age of 38" having other men interested in me definitely boosts my moral. Especially if I am having one of those days where I feel icky.
I can't help but like hearing that someone finds me attractive.
It comes in abundance at the Renaissance Faire because there are a lot of Randy guys and gals out playing and drinking mead and ale. We play a part and our costumes are very flattering, and with as they say, "Tits out front" there is a lot of flirting going on.
I have been asked out a time or two and although it gives the old ego a boost, and when hubby is traveling, it isn't like I couldn't get away with it sometimes. I couldn't do that.
We have a good relationship. He treats me very well, we are best friends. So there is a connection there that I couldn't destroy for a night of lust.
I really think the answer to this question changes for individuals in individual circumstances. If you have been married for several years and your relationship in the bedroom is not the best, Â*you will have more temptation because you need that feeling of being wanted and being attractive. We all have that need in us. And if we aren't getting that from our mate, it is only natural that you would become attracted and feel lust for someone who shows you interest.
Of course there are a few out there who just have that instinct in them to take every conquest. Even though they still have someone they love at home, there is something in them that hasn't been fulfilled so they still stray. I think that is just a different breed of human. Â*It doesn't mean that they don't actually love the one that they have committed to, it is just one of those primal needs...
Some people control it better or are content with one person more than others.
AlsoI suggest you both go out a sew a few oats. If you two were meant to be together you find each other again, and you will not wonder if the grass is greener.aislinnedana wrote: Â*a 19 year old who has been with the same man for 5 years...

My hubby and I have been married for a little more than 16 years. I met him when I was 13 or 14, and we were the best of friends in school, we actually did not get too serious until we were 18, then we had a falling out and broke up. Two and a half years after that he sought me out in a different state and I was engaged and living with another man. I knew I belonged with him and went to him. We have been together ever since. I believe with all my heart had we not had that time apart we wouldn't still be together today.
This all just my humble opinion.

Re: If ????
I always think about things in this context "Shimmy could be out doing the same thing." and I really don't like to think about that. Plus I am a firm believer in what comes around goes around. I have done it to other people and have had it done to me, and it sucks. I know in my heart she wouldn't and that and my love for her keeps me on the straight and narrow, even if I wouldn't get caught.
Looking and flirting on the other hand, I cannot help looking at hot chics that put their goodies on display, knowhatImeanvern?
Shimmy used to get mad about it but has finally learned to accept it. I told her I will look, I can't help it. It's like George Clinton said, "It must be the dog in me..." but dammit I can't help myself.
Like I said she's accepted it and hell I even catch her looking at guys sometimes.
It's healthy.

Re: If ????
I would never "step out" on my wife, nor cheat on her even if there was NO way of EVER getting caught. For one, I would know about it, and would have to live with that knowledge for the rest of my life...there would indeed be a "secret" that I kept from her then.

Re: If ????
MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! It's in my nature to flirt and look at other men, but here's the key difference, I will always remain loyal to my mate or the person I'm with at the time...but, right now I'm enjoying my freedom too much! I'm such a free spirit, I think it would be hard for male to try to rope me in for good..[evil][evil][evil][evil][dancing-banana][dancing-banana][dancing-banana][dancing-banana][lol][lol][lol][lol]
