I have a question for the young folks here.... which do you is easier? Changing condoms or diapers? I'm sick of reading about young folks who get their girlfriends/neighbors pregnant... If you're going to have sex, wear a damn condom, that way you can keep "your little swimmers" to yourself.

We have a lot of UnMarried young men here in the area who actually Brag about how many kids they have fathered out of wedlock. I Hate that.....making babies dosnt prove your a man. Making a good home for those kids is what makes you a man. Exactly!!!! I'm very proud of both my boys. the oldest is raising his 2 boys on his own because their momma thinks playing and partying is more important[mad][mad][mad][mad]I will never understand! He's a great daddy.[smile] The youngest is raising his boy for the same reason. He is now expecting another and he's doing a pretty good job himself.[smile]

I think that is a good question for folks my age too... back when I was a teen, things were different, disease wise, and to be honest, where I grew up there were not alot of teen pregnancy issues. Now that I am grown and single again, that is a very hard topic for myself. This summer when I entered the "dating" pool again, I knew that it is something I had to do... go to the store and buy condoms... It was soooo hard for me, (yes, you can laugh at this story, my friends at work did..over and over... ) lol.. anyway, in todays world, it is too much of a risk for your health to not wear them. I went to my nephew and asked him about the different kinds, 1st embarrassing moment.. then, went to the store, I circled those damn things 3 times before I picked them up and put them in the cart, which by the way, I pretended to tie my shoe and grabbed them as quickly as possible... but the point is its a choice, so many of our young are not held accountable today, (mind you, my kids will not be raised that way) but, even for some of us adults, some dont care, some like me, was just scared to get them, this is a really good topic, goes with the sacred sex topic kinda.. I hope that when my boys get to that point in their life they can come to me with their questions or if they need stuff like condoms, I hope they find it easier to get them then I did, I hope as a parent I will help them understand the results and teach them the way mentally before they do the physical. I guess what I am rambling about is, with all the kids running around having kids, what can we do to help them before that point instead of creating programs to just make it easier after the fact...
