it's sad but does seem to be true that the young men these days seem to have trouble with things like responsability and accountability. All my kids are grown, two out of three have kids of their own. One is the ultimate dad and the other is just the opposite. My wife and I have custody of his daughter.[frown]

I myself was failed birth control.


THe way I see it is, if you're having sex, you should have accepted any and all possible consequences of sex. Sec is fun, but it's main purpose is procreation. Take whaever precautions necessary not to get sick and not to get pregnant and leave the rest up to the holy ones.


My problem with kids is that they don't seem to think that they are responisible for what happens when they engage in adult activities.

I agree.
No matter how old or young you may be, if you choose to do something (anything) you should accept the rewards/consequences of your actions & choices.

Yes, I am a teen-mother.
I am 19, my daughter is 3.
I am raising my daughter with help from my family and friends.
My mother babysits during the day, when Jessi isn't in school, I work dayshift at Pizza Hut,
it isn't much, but is trying to be a better person for my daughters sake.

Did I make a mistake? Yes.
Do I regret it? No.
I love my daughter, and without her I would not be the person I am.
I would like to belive that I am a strong person, although most days I don't feel like it.
But whether I am or not, I am the person I am because of my little girl, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
