why does a noun to describe something so masculine sound so wimpy?[confused]

Well, I don't believe it sounds terribly whimpy. But, if you think so, then use the other macho slang terms around for it. The one that rhymes with rock comes to my mind. That's definitely not whimpy. [lol]

And, while on the subject of names....the term vagina ain't all that great, either.

My brother used to have a hard time calling it a vagina .. so he gave it a nick name in leu of the gynocologists and called it a gynie .. not that the subject came up often in conversations at the dinner table.

i have to admit, as sophisticated and/or mature as i like to think of myself, the word penis still has the power to make me blush. maybe its a holdover from the "shhh...that's a bad word" kind of thinking from childhood.....*sigh* definetly a topic for Dr. Phil....
