Thread: Yes, We Have Rules

The staff of Cauldron Living knows that you appreciate the civil and family-like atmosphere here at CL. We have established a few rules that we expect will help keep it that way. Aside from a small staff of moderators, we are pretty much a self-policed site and depend a great deal on you, the members, in helping us keep Cauldron Living a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone.

We expect Cauldron Living to be spam-free and hate-free. Should you feel that any comment or forum post goes against this and needs to be brought to our attention, please let us know by sending an email to info@cauldronliving.com

Cauldron Living is supported solely by our store. Therefore, no url addresses or links to other commerce sites are to be posted anywhere on Cauldron Living without our prior approval. We do not ask for donations, but you can support this site by doing your supply shopping in our store and by reporting any commerce url addresses or links that you see posted to us for removal.

In addition to commerce sites, we don't allow the url addresses or links to any other message boards, forums, or radio sites to be posted on Cauldron Living. Please let us know if you see any of these posted anywhere on any of the Cauldron Living sites.

The Website Announcements Forum, is, for the most part, for CL staff to make announcements to our members about things pertaining to the Cauldron Living sites. The Members Announcements and Greetings Forum is the appropriate forum for members to post their announcements, greetings, introductions, and general correspondence to other posters. The Cauldron Living Store Forum is where you can post questions about items in our store or suggest products you would like to see in our store. Product links and submissions may be sent to info@cauldronliving.com for us to check them out.

A reminder to all members to read the rules for posting in the Website Announcements, particularly about posting commerce links. (nudge nudge). Website Announcements also contains the answers to questions about the site. Before you email Sonya or any of the moderators with a question, please check here first to see if it solves your problem.

Now, CL has gotten incredibly big and busy in a short period of time. Well done all! With that said, while the admins and moderators check in very frequently, CL is not a 24/7 support site. All problems, including technical ones, will be handled as soon as possible. (For example: Don't wait until 1 hour before your coven meeting to find out you can't get into chat. Try everything prior.) If you have a problem, read Website Announcements first. If you don't find the answer to your question, then email or PM the admins or appropriate moderator, and give them a day or 2 to help you out. Many times we will be able to help you right away, but a reasonable amount of time is requested.

Regarding covens: Any changes to covens will require a 5 days notice. Again, it most likely will happen sooner, but it takes a tremendous amount of time to set up a coven. Be sure you want to actually run a coven before getting started. It simply takes too much time to set up a new coven just to have someone back out afterwards. [Please note: Until further notice, no new covens are being accepted or being formed at this time.

As you all know, every CL site is free. I believe we have one of the most extensive and complete sites on the web. These sites have cost 10's of thousands of dollars to set up. To those who are ordering from the CL Store and particularly our repeat customers, we greatly appreciate it, as does anyone who visits this site since your purchase is supporting it. For those that have never ordered from the store, what are you waiting for? One order every month or so allows us to invest and expand CL. If you have not ordered, it's time to get shopping! Something you'd like that we don't have? E-mail us or post your suggestion in the Cauldron Living Store Forum, and we'll try to get it in as we've done in the past. Even a small order helps! We have the best oils, herbs, books, etc. for you to help support YOUR site. That's about it for now. 2600 members now and rapidly counting.

Just letting you know I read the rules first so I should be ok as I travel my path here at CL.BB.

I have read the rules and will follow them. These rules will make your site even better. Keep up the good work!!
