Im just curious how you are going to bring in the new year ? Are their any good rituals to perform ?

...... I am lucky enough to be Friends with most of my Neighbors; we will be bringing in the New Year with food and fellowship... we will be watching the News to see what blows up. (by the grace of the gods, perhaps nothing will !)

My Husband and I will spend the early part of the evening having dinner out then spending time with friends at a local watering hole. ÂÂ*We are most often back home by midnight, he's usually asleep, and I will do my ritual of opening the door at midnight, sweeping out the Old Year then bowing ÂÂ*and inviting in the New Year.

I will spend the evening with my daughters and their families. At midnight I will also open the door and banish the old and welcome the new. When my number two son was home we followed the old
Welsh custom of having him go out the back door and in the front, so the first person to cross the threshold was a dark haired man. All the other sons and son-in-laws are blond.[dancing-banana][dancing-banana]

I'll be lucky if I make it up until midnight....I'm just not a night owl.

I and my boyfriend usually hang out a one of the area restaraunts or just by a bottle of champange break it out at home..tonigt we are going out.[dancing-banana]

I'm just hangin with the family. Most likely do something for the blue moon. Happy new year all[nonsense]
