My apologies I should have stuck an emoticon on the end of that, I was trying to be funny. But the sentiment is somewhat true. It is always good when you are being preached to, to be able to counter it, or perhaps finish the quote for them, or even better correct them if they mis-speak [tongue]

My mother and I had a conversation about this topic yesterday. I guess there was a family that had a sign posted on their door that said something to the fact of;
Beware of Dog
He eats Jehovah Witness

And a JW showed up at her door and was "offended" and sued her. She said she has had that sign on her door for 30 years and just thought it was funny. She lost her case and had to take it down. Can you believe that?

Another story.
About 5 or 6 years ago, living in my tiny bible belt town, I was having a bad day and was taking it out on my weeds in my front rose garden when 2 ladies were walking down the sidewalk and saw me. They saw I was upset and decided that the word of God would help uplift me.
I told them I was in no mood and they should be on their way. They told me if I gave my problems up to God that he would help me and take my problems away. I looked up and and said I am a witch!! Then I cast my eyes skyward then looked at them and said, Nope your god didn't answer my prayers your still here!!

They came back a month later with their old crone there were 3 now and one was older than dirt and was using a cane.

I thought holy sheep-shit batman here we go.
They had brochures on witchcraft. They gave them too me and said if I would read them they would come back because they were frightened my children's souls as well as myself. I told them I would read their brochures.

I was ready when they came back. I made my own brochure for them on witchcraft.

When they arrived they refused to look at my material. I said, "You are handing out brochures preaching against my religion, and promoting yours, yet you won't even look at a my information? How can you preach against something you don't have a clue about"

They said they didn't need to read about a religion that was evil to know it was wrong and to preach against it, trying to save poor misguided souls as myself and my children.

I told them that if they were so thick to believe that crap and not even willing to read my information and find out for themselves the truth about witchcraft I felt sorry for them. How their religion seemed more of a cult than a religion, they had the nerve to ask to come in my house and preach my children. They even brought a bible to give me. I told them that if they didn't leave I was going to show them a new use for their propaganda and if they came back I would have them arrested for harassment.

That was the end of that. I still saw them walking down my side walk on occasion but they gave me a wide berth. They did inform my neighbors that there was a devil worshipping witch living next door. Luckily my neighbor already knew and was fine with it and informed them that were were a nice family and that we didn't believe in the devil so we couldn't worship him, but man how mean is that?
Christians can be very vindictive.

Yes they can Willowe The only person I still and guess always will have a problem with is my sons grandmother on there fathers side. She just won't try to believe I do not worship the So called Devil. Her son told her a thousand times that I do not believe in the Devil but these Southern Baptist are very stubborn. Even at Larry's funeral(My sons Father) She didn't want me there. Wrong, Larry and I had a great relationship for our sons We just coudn't live together, She tryed real hard to make me leave to the point that her daughter finally had to threaten to leave the service if she didn't quit. Maybe I should have left but I don't feel I was in the wrong.[frown][smile]Sorry for rambling.[oops]

Its Ok Bunny He was way to young but we all knew if he didn't quit smoking and drop at least 150 pounds it was going to happen. Its been just over a year now and my Boys had a little ceremony here so she couldn't belittle me. I'm bigger than a Christain that doesn't act very Christainly [grin][smile]
