I have 2 in each ear and my belly button done, I am WAY to chicken to have nipples done but want to do my eyebrow, and more in my ears

When I got my tragus piercing, there was absolutely no pain at all! Pressure, yes. Pain, no! I am going to get my other one done at some point.[cool]

I've had my ears, helix,ellybutton and nose pierced. nose and belly twice because I got infections the first time from improper piercing. I love it, and I'm in my late 30's...lol Oh, and Storm, as for "down there", my friend is a piercer and she says the big "o" can be great at first but then you'll become desensitized, so it'll make it harder to reach, just an fyi.

I got my nipples done yesterday!!!!

I have one in each lobe, and two on the the cartlilege of my right ear. In my family, we get piercings for rites of passage. I got the lobes done as a child when we moved, then they closed and I did them again at menarche. I got one cartilege piercing when I started college, and the other when I graduated. I am getting another in each lobe when I move again, next year, into my own house. And I want my navel pierced after I have children (it represents fertility, but ironically you have to remove it if you get pregnant, which is why I'm waiting).

There's a really interesting section on body modification in Urban Primitive, by Raven Kaldera and Tannin Schwartzstein. It lists what each piercing represents. Tongue piercings, for example are associated with truth, justice, and communication, and are a punishment for lying in some countries. Interesting, no?

Way to go, Inst8r!!! Now let me ask you this, did it hurt???? Artemis, I kept my navel ring in, til the week I gave birth to my son, it popped out by it's self! So, I ended up getting c-section, and I had to wait til after my son's 1st b-day to redo my navel! But, now I'm going to add a belly chain to it.[grin][wink][lol]

i'd have to find my belly button before i can get it pierced. lol its there somewhere...i know it

I don't think it hurt, but it takes a little while to fully heal (four months).
