Re: sandalwood
I love Sandlewood oil and incense! Its a great protection and healing oil, I wear the essential oil at least 2-3 times a week. I do not wear purfume or colognes I wear only essential oils and have for many many years, I love it when some one wants to know what I'm wearing and when I tell them, some do not have a clue! I love to use it in some rituals, Always wear it during fullmoons! I always use it when I am officiating Handfastings. Its a sacred oil, as is being Handfasted. And if things seem to be out of whack and dis-array, I will burn some and it does calm things down. I have a great oil and incense supply right here at the Tex ren fest and the folks that own it live on the street, so any time I get low I can walk over and get some fresh. If you would like their site let me know.
I am hoping to get a piece of true Sandalwood this season, It is awesome!

Re: sandalwood
I would love the link moonie!
ok.. I will tell you why, maybe it will prompt more posts...
I had another "message" my first of this kind... told me to get sandalwood, I dont use it, dont have any, never felt connected to it...
I did not at the time even pay enough attention to it to know what it was for!
I asked what do you mean sandalwood, and got the vision of a cone and stick burning, so, I knew I am supposed to be using the insense, so, I looked it up and made a few phone calls as to the meanings... It was very cool and powerful, as I always love when I get new gifts and expiriences~ I was being nosey as to, how many people, just like moonie posted, use it and how and why? Kind of like a kid I suppose, but, I love this side of me! lol

Re: sandalwood
Just wanted to remind ya that the CL store sells some essential oils and incense, so you might want to check to see if they carry what you're looking for. If you have other links to other sites that sell similar stuff, it's best to share them via PM or email and not post them on the forums. Thanks![smile]Oceansedge wrote:

Re: sandalwood
Thanks Thelma, I guess I just take the store here for granted, I think of books, wands, big stuff for our store!
Sorry Moonie, I didn't mean to get you scolded... still love me? I actually was not even looking for places to buy it, I was trying to get a conversation going on the use of it in different homes.

Re: sandalwood
I tend to use a Lot of incense at my house....mostly stick, and scented oils. The sticks I use are mostly Nag Champa, but I will also use flavored sticks such as Jasmine, Sandalwood, or Roman Chamomile..... I also use Oils; sometimes alone and sometimes Blended, depending on what sort of Mood (or spell) I am working on. [wink]
