For Litha this year, I decided to try making an Amulet of Protection using herbs from our garden (we have a perennial bed AND a bed just for herbs). I used white cotton for the actual bag, put the herbs (some fresh, some dried) in, and sewed it shut, all the while focusing on the end result (protection). I've been carrying it with me in my pocket. I actually finished it the day after the solstice, so it has only been two nights. Both nights, I placed it under my pillow.
Both nights, I had dreams. This is odd for me, because I rarely dream, almost never. Two nights in a row is like nonexistent for me. The first night, the dream was.....odd? Not entirely scary, but had a lot of danger, and certainly wasn't fun. Last night's dream was just entirely random. I moved from somewhere very far away to a house just down the street where I actually live, and there was a me living in my real house, and I (the me in the dream) was like five or whatever, but I knew that she and I were the same person, and it was just weird. O.o
Because of the weird/scary dream of the first night, on the second night, I focused on protection from the amulet for while I slept. I guess it helped, since last night's dream wasn't scary at all.......
Does anybody know what happened/why?
The only thing I can think of is that some of the herbs I put in might have also to do with dreams. I did put in mimosa leaves and a flower........and supposedly, from where I have found, it helps with dreams......any ideas?
