Default Medicine Bag or Amulet for fertility?

    Greetings All!
I am looking for some suggestions on creating a wearable medicaine bag or amulet for fertility. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 7+ years and have tried the "western medicine" types of help. I know in my heart that this is supposed to be a very special child that I am trying to bring to the world, and that I need special help to make that happen. But of course I am too close to the "project" to see it clearly. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly celebrated and appreciation will be sent to you from me through the universe.

    Love and Blessings...

There is a game that women play in Laos when they are trying to conceive that involves throwing raw eggs at each other, with the idea that the fertility of that egg (ie sacrifice of the chicken embryo) is thus transferred to the woman. A woman I know has used this in ritual format and had great success. I would suggest you and your husband each have an egg (fertilized or not, your choice) and perhaps draw fertile symbols on them (ie spirals, erect phalluses, sprouting seeds, etc.) then empower them with as much green, earthy energy as you can. Next, gently (and lovingly) smash your egg on eachother's heads. Let that fertile goodness drip all over you. Feel free to commence with the Great Rite (cuz nothing sets the mood better than raw egg running down your face!)

As far as more practical, womencraft tips, making sure your cycle is regular can be a big help. Raspberry leaf can help with this (for you, at least.) Also, if you pay attention to your cycle and your body, you'll notice some big hints as to whether you're fertile or not: 1) you produce more cervical mucus prior to ovulation, it should be stringey, clear, and taste sweeter (makes better transport for sperm that way,) 2) your cervix gets softer, lower, and more open the closer you are to ovulation; near your bleed time, it will be higher, closed, and hard, and 3) near ovulation, your belly will be flatter and you may feel a twinge on the right or left side at the actual time of ovulation (called ovulation pain); your belly will be puffier nearer to your bleed. Women actually only ovulate for about 6 hours, about two weeks before the first day of their bleed. But, sperm can stay viable for days within the woman's body.

Hope some of this is helpful!

    Namaste,

If you have been trying for 7 years without success the laws of probability argue that there is something wrong with someone's plumbing. Make sure both of you get tested for infertility. Most often men with low motility sperm, or low count sperm are the reason while with women there are many variables. Make sure you don't smoke as this will cause your womb to become infertile. Quit any drugs you are on, including prescription drugs for psychiatric disorders as these may cause fertility problems. Ask your doctor if you can go a few months without them first of course. To also strengthen and tonify your womb maximize the amount of green leafy vegetables you consume and eat tons of strawberries which are a native american fertility inducer. If you are more than 30lbs over or underweight this can also affect your ability to conceive. If you are an athlete and are training for marathons the excessive exercise can also impair your ability to conceive.

    hope this helps,
    JB
Take what you wish from my words, and blow the rest away.
