taking time in nature and focusing in the quiet is a good idea and from time to time can be what the doctor ordered, but there are times that too much of the peace and quiet can drive me crazy where I can't focuse on anything. maybe your just too focued on the diminished skill. I myself find it theroputic to focus on anything else like playing my drums, listening to music that will help me get to the emotional state that I want to be in, or just do, listen, or play something from my childhood. For me just a little mental time out is all I need, also this is how I get my best ideas for both the magickal and mundane. It's like when you lose your keys or something, when you stop looking for it is when you will find it.
