    Default Spells for Mind Blocking.....?

I've had some psychic-related problems for the past two days...it feels like someone is pressing on my brain from the inside...almost constantly. And NOTHING helps. Does anyone have any spells for mind blocking or mind protection that are quick and somewhat easy?

You could also wear a tinfoil pyramidal hat.

HOw stylish, an iron anvil hat.

Seriously though, heavy metals and precious metals were thought to somehow block magickal effects. This is why gold and silver was so prized. It is also at the root of why werewolves and other magical creatures were only affected by weapons made of silver.

The best defense against perceived psychic attacks is to simply believe they cannot have any effect against you. Rarely, and I mean like lightning strike rarely, do magick practictioners have the discipline to be able to direct psychic attacks against someone else. It requires not only a high degree of psychic ability but will and focus to be able to do this. And then again you have the 3-fold rule coming into play as well as "do what you will but harm none" or suffer the consequences. So paranoia is more than likely the cause of any perceived "attacks" rather than actual sorcery. Once you no longer believe someone is psychically attacking you, and providing there is no underlying medical condition such as migraines, etc. you will be fine, as your own will in disbelief will "block" any psychic attacks.

I'll second what Jayne said. Disbelief does a world of wonders for most "psychic attacks." テつ*

One other thing I'll add: テつ*

I don't know how long you've been practicing but every pagan I know (including myself) has gone through a phase where it seems we are being attacked from every angle and it feels absolutely real. テつ*The great thing is that it passes and most of us learn how to tell the difference, although I have known one or two never grew out of it.

I like the aluminum foil hat. plus its its very stylish. lol Seriously, there is something to be said for paradigm shifting when you scare the crap out of yourself or feel you are being attacked.
