Anti Mosquito Something!
I am tired of being eaten alive by these little things. I can’t work out side, I can’t work inside. I guess it’s the season here on Okinawa that all the little blood suckers come out. I’ve tried special candles, sprays and even this weird gel crap the marine corp gives out. And I guess the like ninja mosquitoes cause they keep coming back… I’m half tempted to make a servitor just to deal with them, and I’ve got enough of those running around and I really don’t feel like creating another right now.
Spells, amulets, any thing please!... I’m tired of scratching….

Re: Anti Mosquito Something!
Yarrow tincture sprayed with a fine mister on your skin will deter them.
Skin-so-soft makes a great oil that prevents them from biting as they get flooded with oil when they land.
I find a diet of limes and quinine with your favorite gin or vodka is also great at repelling mosquitos.
My fav is 1 part vodka, 1 part gin 1 quarter lime, 2parts tonic water over ice- Mosquito Martini!
hahahaha,
JB

B vitamins, garlic and cider vinegar in your diet helps make you taste bad to the little buggers. (pun intended) Seems that some people, myself included , are just more attractive to them. [tongue]

Re: Anti Mosquito Something!
I have heard that you can tie a fabric softner sheet on to a belt loop on your pants and that will repell them...I dont know for sure though..Ive never tried it.
If you try it let me know if it helped!

I've also heard that putting a fabric softener sheet in one of your pockets helps to cut down on static electricity when the air is very dry, but it's never helped me when I've tried it. As far as being a mosquito repellent, I've never heard that. I would think the scent might attract them, but since Avon's Skin So Soft has been an effective mosquito repellent for years, I guess fabric softener sheets are worth a try, too.stormyrayne wrote:
