This week, in the place of the recent past, we find the card of Death. The Death card is probably the most misunderstood card of the tarot but it can truly be one of the most benefitual if fully understood. Most of us have a certain sense of foreboding about the unknown and what greater unknown is there to us than death? However, the card of Death does not imply the physical death but instead this card represents transformation, the shedding of the old skin for the new. This card indicates that there are very big changes ahead and like the true death, these changes are inevidible. Perhaps you are letting go of old beleifs, old perspectives that are no longer useful to you. Perhaps you are leaving your old life, in search of a new path. However this change comes to you, it is best not to fight this, fordeath cannot be avoid, it does not discriminate and it eventually comes to us all.

The Current

In the position of our current situation we have the Two of Wands. The Two of Wands heralds the formulation of a new aim, goal or creative project. This new idea may not be the final shape of the future, butit is full of potinual, and sufficient to lure us out of our present confines into a new creative venture. Everything here depends on the courage of the individual to take the new idea up with both hands,and to put faith in that invisible creative power which has generated the new path.

The Near Future

The card in the place of our near future is the Eight of Wands. This card heralds a period of action after delay or struggle. Travel is sometimes implied, or a clear stretch of frutiful creative activity,where the imagination flows unchecked after anxieties and tension shave been overcome or resolved.

The Week Predicted

As indicated by the cards, this week will be full of changes, forced scarifies and a clearing of the way to begin a new path in life. While changes are often frightening to us, they are also a very necessary part of our spiritual journey. We cannot advance in ourlives if we are in a state of stagnation and we must step outside of our comfort zones if the rewards of the future are to be had. Instead of staying within the confines of what we comsider safe, muster your courage and take that first step forward. We will never realize our full potinual in life if we stay safely hidden away in a corner.
