Proprioceptive Writing
I took a weekend course in this at kripalu:
Proprioceptive Writing (PW) is a method for facilitating emotional health, spiritual awakening, creative breakthroughs, and better writing.
A technique for exploring the mind through writing, it is so easy that anyone can learn it.
PW is widely recognized as:
- an adjunct to the therapeutic arts
- a form of meditation
- a valuable writing tool, both for people wishing
to write and for those facing writing blocks
To learn more about it go to www.pwriting.org. I will post some of the writing I did at this seminar soon.

Re: Proprioceptive Writing
Bunny-highway-stream of consciousness~long trail. I was hiking one day and I came to a fork in the road not knowing which way to go I went.....
Back in the day my Imagination would run wild and Rampant, like a forest fire almost. destructive and working with a natural force out of control.
I stopped there to consider which way to go next, my mental path zigzaging between hazards and oh the place you'll go. An escape, or a journey of adventure.
To philcon I say! may the world of darkness keep at bay yet follow my true souls journey into the world of undeath. preserve my humanity, but let the white wolves howl let them like mad at the moon. unleash the beast within and without.
Into the night my soul screams flying soaring enlivining my soul and bringing to the front everything that i have been thinking and feeling then shutting down bring the circle to a close letting the adreline subside.
Starting freshly with an odd scent of flowers.
Flowers of happiness and the old stories of the zeks.
looking down a tunnel into nothingness, no light to be seen at the end before or after. no redemption song to lift us back into the world of atomic energy. stuck way down deep inside a cave of ignorance. shutting down and forming a barrier between ourselves and the horde. left for dead. left behind in a world of nightmare and the wolf yes he is howling once more. howling to be free. to be let loose on all humanity like a storm to be reckoned with a great noreaster that buries the world in a sheet of white ice. ages come pass and subside finding the stregth tho to carry on despite what is happening to our earth to our kine. wondering what falls next into the world of darkness beyond the rim of our atomsphere. where coils of undeath lie and wait to be unsprung into what we dont know. mindfully we continue for complete randomness and chaos take us over or conversely law stagnants and makes the world empty and devoid of possiblity. chaos brings us more than we can handle sometimes where to turn next where to go when into dark places is our only path to take?

I am amazed at all the weird stuff that comes out of my head. I spent the majority of my class time trying this out.

Hi. I'm glad you can relate. I am going through a bit of a creative frenzy lately. I haven't been to the board in awhile. My blog has moved: Inspiring Quotes, Emarketing and some of my writing.
