Spring and Summer's Promise
This is a poem dedicated to my Boyfriend David...I wrote this after I read a few of Pablo Neruda's Love Sonnets.
Your hands are glazed, love
What's wrong?
Your heart sounds as a boxed drum
The box being you, the box being the gift of my heart; my revival.
Seasons have come and gone, my vibrant revival not ever of the waning.
My tears are the snow; the frosty of the frosty; they do not exsist
The blooms of spring evident on your lips; full bloom at last!
The Summer sun is always in your bluebird eye
The green leaves of Spring and Summer give in to Autumn; I do not, Spring and Summer always on my pale, rosy tounge.
