The Waxing Moon gathers light
In her nightly sortie with the stars.
A maiden spirit growing bright,
She casts her glowing charms afar.

The Full Moon sails above the clouds,
Her shining orb gleams through,
The dappled branches and tree boughs,
Bringing enchantment to me and you.

The Waning Moon is bent and old,
As she wends her way through the maze.
The nights are growing dark and cold,
As she prepares for her last phase.

The Dark Moon has hid her face,
And now the stars can claim the sky.
The Milky Way takes Her place,
As Death reaps souls with her scythe.
