    Default Journey into Darkness

    I wanted to include a picture I took with this but it wouldn't upload. Oh well. I wrote this for a Pagan newsletter a friend and I started. I write a poem for each issue and this is for our Lammas issue. Hope you like.



    'Journey into Darkness'


    Darkness slowly descends upon us
    as the Sun begins his departure.

    Celebrating the First Harvest,
    We thank the Goddess and God for their gracious bounty.

    The God, who has warmed our days and filled our hearts with light.
    And The Goddess, who has filled our lives with never ending beauty
    of which she has bestowed upon this Fertile Earth.

    Your warmth and beauty fill our souls with delight
    and echo within every beat of our hearts.

    Blessings to our Father
    and Blessings to our Earth Mother.
