Quack quack quack
I never thought in a million years that ducks would make good pets. I have 8 of them and they all have their own personality. From what I was told all my ducks with the exception of the mallard don't fly. My Gwen(the mallard) barely figured out he can fly. The big white pekin ('Flac) firured it out, too. she's the biggest one! Crazy, lol. Watching them swim is fun, too. They go in a circle, dunk their heads under and flap their wings all over the place, except my little Daphne and Midnight (Daphne is a black swedish, and Midnight is a cayuga). Just thought I'd share in the delight of having ducks.

I have pics of them when they were babies. I have some on my facebook page.Everyone except Daphne grew up together. Well I got Mozart and Midnight a week later. Daphne I got a couple of months later. My honey got a little mad at me but Daphne won him over with her personality and general cuteness, and she makes me happy. I'm a little more attatched to her than the rest of them, but I love them all. They are the greatest pets. Never thought in a million years I'd be the duck lady. Always thought I'd be the cat lady. lol The Goddess showed me, didn't she. The ducks are a little more respectful of the garden than the guineas. They will eat the weeds and snails before the flowers, although my little salvia plant gets in trouble. Harley (my welsh harlequin) really likes it. The red flowers must look good to him. He will even sit next to it so nobody else can get to it. lol crazy duck.

I'm sad to say. I had to move from my home and take the ducks to the SPCA. They are having a nice time adjusting to their new home. They said I can visit them anytime until they get adopted.
The best part... they won't euthanize them either.nothing is real everything is permitted

I agree with Althaea, on top of that try having him relax and meditate before bed. If it helps have him keep a journal near by and record the instances as best as he can. But, definitely go through a...
