    Default White Tigers

My animal totem is the white tiger. At least, according to what I found out during the guided meditation. And I really do think they are, I started being able to feel energies and such only after I did the guided meditation and I don't think it's a coincidence. White tigers are highly inbred creatures, I know, they aren't 'natural' and I was wondering if it was possible for them to be my animal totems. Because since Wicca is a Pagan religion, shouldn't all totems be natural? But I really feel that my animal totem is the white tiger. So would that mean that it couldn't be my totem? And I was wondering if it was possible to have extinct animal familiars. And what would happen if lets say your totem was the red panda and red pandas became extinct, what would happen? And I was wondering if any of you had extinct animals or those at the verge of extinction as your totems?

Since an animal totem is in essence the spirit of the beast with its particular attributes that will come into your life when you have need of them, it is indeed possible to have a totem that is extinct or nearly extinct. In fact it is possible to have a totem or spirit animal guide that never existed on our plane of existence. Some may come into your life for a short period to give you insight as needed, and some may stay with you for a life time as close companions. Never think you are restricted to only one and that they will not differ as your life changes. The trick is to identify them and learn what they are trying to teach you when they show up. Yours is a white Tiger, you need to explore the atributes of the Tiger as a species. The fact that is is a white tiger may be that your totem came in a form that you would pay attention to or is pleasing to you. The fact that the white tiger is a product of successful mutation doesn't mean it is not natural, mutations in nature happen all the time.

Thank you! That helped a lot. I never knew you could have a totem that never existed during our life on earth before. Yes, now that you mention it, my totem probably appeared in the form of a beautiful white tiger because I'm kinda big on beauty. Thanks so much, I really appreciate your help~

Actually... Who knew if that animal I saw was a white tiger, it could have been a White Siberian Tiger for all I knew. Why didn't I ask? Wow, that was pretty stupid. Thanks! I never even knew siberian tigers existed. Haha... I'm feeling pretty dumb right now. Thank you so much for the help~ I'll make sure I ask my totem what animal it really is lol

Yeah I was going to say that there are a few breeds of "natural" white tigers...But also, when it occurs in a breed that's normally orange or gold, that animal is just Albino that is then used for its recessive gene. It's still natural and not quite created by man, it's just manipulated.

I did another guided meditation to see my animal totem, I asked him/her what animal it was. It said "White bengal tiger" but I believe that it just appears as pretty much anything that I'd like. The eyes changed to gold once and a man with black hair was hovering over the tiger. This is the second time I saw a person with black hair in my meditations, except the first time the person was a girl. And I keep seeing hawks along with the white tiger but when I asked it if it were my totem, it always says no. Maybe because I feel scared of the hawk(it does look very freaky) and a part of me doesn't want it to be my totem.
