Re: What do Our Cats Look Like? (part 2)
She's also a fairly long cat, with long legs and a very long spine, and that makes her look as though her belly's sticking out but it's never hard or even very round, andit's not painful any more. I've checked often, believe me, being the paranoid mommy I can tend to be!

Selene, I'm glad to hear your kitty's doing well and she's seen the vet recently. I was concerned when I saw what I perceived to be distention and the lack of hair and pink color of her belly that looked like some sort of inflammation. But, it sounds like you're taking good care of her and are an observant Mommy!

Re: What do Our Cats Look Like? (part 2)
I am pleased to report that Genie is doing beautifully, and has put back on the few ounces she lost in her most recent little blah spell (and then some!)
She's back to being a bouncy, mischievous kitten who loves nothing more than to torment her sister Mimi (who torments Genie right back!), make a mess with toilet paper (with help from Mim, of course!) and get her belly rubbed (by any and everyone!).

New pictures of my children!!
The best friends, Phantom and Dori.
Sleeping in their favourite spot (I have to be careful not to shut them in!
Genie is growing beautifully!
This beauty is Genie's sister, Mimi.
And here's Genie doing what she loves...she refuses to drink from her bowl!

Here are some of the members of the Feline Nation in residence at my house. Â* Â*
Here's Jackson:
Â*
Here's one of the best ones I could get of his mother. Â*This is called "hurry up and take the damn picture."
It's a little overexposed but here's Toby:
"Black Cat" - apparently, he's tired of having his picture made too. Â*
I'll post photos of the other three as some as I can get some decent ones...if they don't run at the sight of the camera. [lol]

Re: What do Our Cats Look Like? (part 2)
I LOVE seeing photos of everyone's kitties!!
Azra, I especially like the spots/coloring on Jackson.....kinda reminds me of a dalmation, ya know?
(I know, I know....don't let Jackson know I said that!)

Re: What do Our Cats Look Like? (part 2)
hee! Thank you and don't worry, I won't say a thing...[lol]
It's a good thing I didn't think 'dalmation' - there's no telling what I may have called him! As it was, I kept thinking of a Jackson Pollock painting...[smile]

Re: What do Our Cats Look Like? (part 2)
Azra your Jackson looks so much like my Genie! I almost thought it was her at first and started saying to myself" I don't remember taking that photo..."

I can say the same thing - I saw the photo of Phantom taking a nap and I thought, "If I didn't know better, I'd swear that was Nathaniel or Black Cat." Â*

I agree with Althaea, on top of that try having him relax and meditate before bed. If it helps have him keep a journal near by and record the instances as best as he can. But, definitely go through a...
