Thanks, Uaine. The funny thing is that they usually come out and get into everything when the "people" are opening their presents....ribbons and boxes and torn paper are so much fun to play with! But, this year? None of the cats came into the living room until we were done with our gifts and it was time for them to check out their stockings. It was weird....while we were opening our presents, we kept saying, "Where are the cats?" But, they instinctually knew when it was "their turn," and that's when all 4 of them finally made their appearance.
All you guys' cats are so beautiful! here are some recent ones of my babies.
This is my newest baby, Genie. We adopted her, and a few days later she got really sick and we nursed her back to health. As a result she's very trusting and loves people. She had a stomach virus, and her tummy would hurt so we'd rub it for her, and even now she loves to have her belly rubbed.
Her she is in my Granny's lap
This is Genie's sister, Mimi. My gran adopted her, so we take Genie over to visit often. SHe's there now, actually!
Time for a belly rub!
And here's Phantom doing waht he loves to do - sprawling out!
I've got more beautiful photos of my other cats, I just had to let you see my baby!
Selene, how is Genie's stomach problem now? I don't know how current those photos are, but her stomach still looks distended and bloated to me in the photos. Were you able to take her to a vet?
Oh no, Thelma my sweet, thanks for your concern, but that's just the angle of the photos/ She's kind of sunken into Alex's shirt there in a funny way. she did have a little spot of not eating and the blahs a few days ago, but these photos were her in the peak of health, and after a trip to the vet yesterday, she's feeling much better (she had been under the weather on Wednesday). These photos were taken a few weeks ago after she'd had a big meal and she was very content. The angle of the pictures does make it look as though her belly's a little distended, but it's not. She's been given a clean bill of health by the Docotr! Her recent blah spell was attributed to the fleas that she picked up from my mom's dog (which have been taken care of on bith Genie and Sheba).
