Default my daughter wants to be a Witch!

My wife, daughter ,aunt,Niece went to Salem Mass this past weekend, they had a ball my daughter came back with this lil books,13 of them the 8 sabbats and love spells ,pentagram info and somethin else.
So I started explaining stuff and showed her my wall hanging of "the Wheel of the year",pointed out the Sabbats. She's all loving it right now I hope it sticks.
I have always kept it hidden about me,yet right under thier noses but now I have been able to come out,i talked to my son about it,he thinks its cool but not for him.
anyway just thought I bring it up.It makes my life easier.

That's so neat, LD. I bet it feels more comfortable and relaxing to be "out of the broom closet" at home. [smile]

Man i wish my father was like you. Hes a catholic and he doesnt even know that im not. And I dare not tell him the truth. My mother on the other hand, is a Pagan but they divorced when I was 1 year old. So when im over there im able to practice without worry. But sadly when im at my fathers I cant do anything Wiccan for fear that he wont like it.

But congrats. I will hopefully raise my children Wiccan.

Awesome! When I started practicing I didn't hide it, and my girls have known for awhile that we weren't "Christian." If they asked why we didn't go to church I explained my beliefs weren't in that area.

Now I have a 12 and 10 yo and my 12 yo daughter thinks she is Christian, she goes to church 2x a week with a friend but I think its mroe for the socialization.

My 10 yo daughter is my little Gypsy Witch. She loves nature and since we're a nature-based path she loves it. :-)

Be patient...answer all her questions, and ask her what she thinks about certain things. My 10 yo worships 2 Gods: Mother Nature and Father Time. lol And ask but don't force her to be in a ritual or do a spell.

i have to admit that at first i hid my practice from my daughter, but i am so glad to be able to share it with her now-of course i think i took the easy path by teaching her about different world religions before i told her that i was wiccan, but...all the same

That's great! You two could practice the craft together! I'm so happy for you~ My mother doesn't approve of my involvement in Wicca and I'm hoping she'll accept it, soon. I hope your daughter holds on to her interest in witchcraft because magic really is amazing. Good luck and blessed be!
