Default Soccer mom with Pagan bumpersticker??

Does anyone think it's too out to disclose their religion so freely as to put it in a bumpersticker on their car? For the most part, it's common knowledge at my sons school. I still have the rednecks that follow too closely on the road at night. I haven't gotten the other bumperstickers up just yet.

Hmmm,. it just says "You are wrong about everything you believe in.", No, I'm kidding.
It says "Witches Heal". That's it. But it seems to cause some trouble.

    LOL!

I have a small sticker on the back window that's a triple moon. That's it. Those that know what that is, will know what I am. Those that don't... don't bother me. [wink]

i have a few bumperstickers on my car. like a sticker that says "goddess", one says "my other car is a broom" (that one is my friend's favorite), "blessed be" & one with the rede as well. then again i have one that says "i do what my rice crispies tell me to" so my car is basically a book. [nonsense]

During the summer my daughter was in dive classes, the local pools swim team, as well as tae kwon do I wish I could say it was a positive thing but people treated her differently. There was actually people who would pull there children away from my daughter. Although it didnt help that Ana announced our cats name is Lucy-Furrr which certain people didnt find as humorous as we do here in my home. I am a bit bitter over it although not angry, for Ana's sake at least, she had asked how come they can wear crosses or have bumper stickers that say Jesus Saves, and she cant even wear her penticle to class...

But..we are growing. so one day I imagine no one will mind and until then I places a rather large penticle bumber sticker on my car in place of witches heal ~winks~

I think it's cute, my son is one of the biggest Harry Potter fiends (I know it's Shakespeare but I can't help but to think of that cute little song). He's only 6, so he hasn't had time to read them as they've come out. He was featured in a local newspaper dressed as Harry Potter.

Don't worry, Phoenix, I'm a dork like that too! lol. I've seen so many bumper stickers, especially "I walk the path of the Ancient Ones" and "Isis Isis Ra Ra Ra."

    Merry meet!
A website that I am working on does say "Something Wiccan this way comes." as the title. It's a clever take on the Bard and his words.
As far as the bumper sticker question, why not? The Christians have their 'praise Jesus' (in more than one format) stickers or Christian fish, why not us? There are other great ones such as...A picture of a pentacle and the sticker reads..."Gimme dat ole time religion!"
Another is..."If going to Church makes someone a Christian, does going to the garage make you a car?"
If our society relies on eye catchers such as tee-shirts, religious symbols in jewelry and bumper stickers and Christian offerings are the most recognized, then why not wear Pagan/Wiccan messages? Just think of a bumper sticker as car jewelry!

I think that's awesome! I also think that we should have our bumper stickers as well. There's no applicable reason why we shouldn't. Besides, Wicca and Paganism is an acknowledged religion in the United States. If people don't like that, then that's their problem![mad]

Yeah, I never got why people get all uptight about other people's bumper stickers. I mean it's their property, they can let it speak whatever...

Anyway, I don't have a wicca/pagan bumbersticker on my car (just grateful dead). But lots of folks here in Austin do, and even the "rednecks" don't seem to care too much.

(and i know this is hypocritical, but the christian fish irks me. i like the fish with feet response)
