Does any one know when it's the correct moon sign of the moon to take a baby off his bottle. (I wasn't able to breast feed to my big dissapointment.) My grandmother knew but she past away back in 99 and no one in my family can remember.
I would think Scorpio, as it has to do with endings.
Though, I've never heard of this before. When my oldest stopped nursing, it was his first birthday, and he was ready to stop. He chose to. Your little one should give you some sort of indication if he's ready or not. Some kids need a bottle longer than others, just as some kids need to nurse longer than others.

As a mother of two grown children and a grandmother of two, I don't think a particular Moon sign has anything to do with when to take a baby off of a bottle. I would think more relevant items would be the baby's age and readiness to be weaned.
I don't know your baby's age, but if your baby's approaching one, that's kind of the "benchmark" age for beginning the weaning process with decreasing the number of bottles and the amount of milk or formula in each bottle. When in doubt, consult your pediatrician. [smile]
Thanks for the replies.
All my mother could remember about the moon was that my grandmother said she made sure it was the correct moon before weaning and she also planted her gardens in accordance to the moon. Some call the weaning on the moon sign an old wives tale but she said it worked but she past away in 99 and that time I was far from children. My child just turned 1 may 11th. He seems to cutting down some on the bottles. He sometimes won't drink the whole bottle anymore but other times he drains it. I've gotten him down to about 3 to 4 bottles a day and trying to get him to eat solid foods but he really hates textured food so I still have to mash it up really good or he just spits it out. Thanks for everyone help.
