An important anniversary this weekend.
I'm still looking for the "why" our response to the attacks that stole our naivety, cost us much of our personal freedom and cost so many people a "normal" life.
That the attacks of September 11, 2001 were a tragedy is not being disputed. If you think they were unjustified, I would agree, but only on the basis that I firmly believe violence is never a solution. That there wasn't an American action that justified

That was fine for hunters, gatherers, and farmers but along came a class of people that could have something new - Leisure Time. Not so much as “What are

Been pushing on a rope lately.
We are integrating a new member into our family, a 12 year old girl. She is the sister of our adopted son and, to put it lightly, three handfuls. Like our son she has Reactive Attachment Disorder, Attention Deficient Disorder, came from a very abusive and neglectful birth family. The young lady has been with us now for a little over a month and the honeymoon period was over the day she moved in full time.
No honeymoon
