I guess I should say that I finally got the time to write his birth story and let you all know that he made it into the world safely.
once again i want to thank everyone for their positive thoughts and well wishes as this pregnancy was pretty hard at the start and after multiple losses i never thought I would finish a pregnancy. Not only did i go to my due date, but i had a wonderful home water birth surrounded by friends and loved ones. My older son got to cut the cord, and I got to hold my son from the moment he was born until I was ready to let my family and friends hold him and then the midwives did their check. I did have very bad back-labor to where I was sure I would die (LOL!) but did not tear and literally was only in labor for 3 1/2 hours. It was kinda funny, the midwife checked and said I was dilated to 7, and within 20 minutes I was holding my son!!!
Anyway, he is almost a month old, and i wanted to make sure that I let everyone know he was here and ok.

Congratulations, funlish! Welcome to the world, little Xander! He picked an excellent day to appear as June 3rd is also my boyfriend's birthday. [smile]
I, too, had back labor when I had both of my children, so I can totally relate to how excruciatingly painful it is. You definitely have my sympathy for having to go through that, but now it's over and you have the wonderful blessing of another beautiful son! I'd love to see a photo of him sometime if you can post one.
Again, congrats to you and your family, and may your little one be blessed and fill your life with joy!
