Thread: Maybe its a sign....

I have been trying to get in for my annual, pap smear, physical, that sort of thing and I have had to reschedule it three different times! Two of them because my period shifted. The first time it shifted two weeks just so that I would be on it the week of my appointment. The second time my daughter was sick and I needed to be with her, and this last time my period started a day or two before! I rescheduled it for June, but I am thinking that my period will shift again just to spite me. [lol]

Curse those shifty periods!

I don't usually get my time of the month but once or twice a year... when it does happen I bleed for weeks at a time. Last time I almost ended up in the hospital due to a sudden onset of anemia! D:

Don't forget that Mercury is currently retrograde and has been for most of this month. I don't know when you tried to make your appointments, but this cosmic trickster is key for fouling up appointments and plans. It goes direct again by the end of the month, so hopefully your June appointment won't have to be rescheduled.

The first appt was at the start of April, that was when my period shifted 2 weeks. I bled hard, too. [frown] The 2nd time was at the end of April, and I had a sick child to contend with, and it also happened to coincide with the swine flu outbreak, so I wasn't taking any chances there. The third was about 10 days ago. This may likely have been because Mercury is in retrograde. Its kind of funny when you look at it, but its been kind of frustrating, too, as I hate having to go in for it. *sigh* Aah, health. The things we go through to maintain it.

Don't feel bad dear. I have had 2 bouts with cervical cancer. Well, could have been if they had not found it in time. I'm still fighting the urge to scream! I finally made it through my appointment. Glad that mess is over for another year. I think that you were right thelma, though what influence mercury has over moon cycles I don't know. *shrug* I should have the results sometime this week. I just had to laugh about the whole period thing. I figured that if I started on the day again, that I would just bag the damned thing for a while and not get it done. [lol] As is, I am glad that I don't have to stress about it till next year.

Glad to hear you were finally able to have your appointment. As for Mercury's influence, have you done your natal chart? It's possible that Mercury could have a ruling effect on you in one or more areas. If that's the case, when it goes retrograde, you will probably be more affected by it than others. Just something to consider and check out when you have time......
