Just to answer the original question. Now, this is my own personal opinon, so in other words, don't get PO'd. LOL

I personally feel that the GLBT already suffers from enough self-loathing brought on by the Christian Right. So why would any Gay person want to add to that?

As for me, if I am asked to choose a political party then it is the Democratic Party. I do not choose this party because of their gay affiliations though, (most of that is for show anyways) I choose this party because they have passed more laws that I agree with than the Republicans.
