Oil & Vinegar Salad Dressing
My Grandmother has made this since I can remember. It is a staple in her fridge and has always been apart of Holiday dinners. I am a garlic lover..and this is the dressing that started it! I warn you that it is potent and corrosive at best! But ohhh so good..mmmmm
1 cup Oil (she uses crisco but I'm sure there are betters ones to use)
1 cup Vinegar
3 heaping tsp Sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 full garlic bulb crushed
Mix and keep cold

A good oil and vinegar (or Italian) dressing HAS to give you "dragon breath" or it's not good! [lol]walking_spirit wrote:

Yep, 1 Whole bulb crushed. I guess if you are not a garlic eater than it would be a shocker to the system. I only taste it a bit. I am interested to see if anyone does make it and report on the "garliciness" off it. I grew up with it so it is what it is! [wink]
