Re: What Is Your Favorite Kind of Tea?
I'll put in a plug for a local tea company here in my county, the Grayson County Herbal Tea Company. The woman who owns the company also grows, hand picks, washes, processes, and packages all the teas herself. She's truly a one woman dynamo when it comes to teas. They currently offer two teas: lemon balm and chocolate mint.
Here's a quote from their site:
"Locally grown herbal tea for your health and enjoyment. We are currently selling our third crop of lemon balm herbal tea and have just sold out of our first crop of chocolate mint herbal tea. Both are hand picked, loose leaf herb teas. Lemon balm has long been known for its calming effect, good taste, and anti-bacterial properties. Chocolate mint has a hint of chocolate in its aroma, but otherwise is a lusty peppermint tea. Both are all natural, caffeine free, and raised near Howe, Texas.
We sell our herbal teas in gift tins and loose leaf tea accessories such as teapots, cups, infusers, and special gift items. We sell our tea in 1.25 oz re-useable tins for $7.50 (includes sales tax). Each tin makes 20-30 cups of tea."
Their teas are sold locally here in specialty stores in north Texas, or you can order online from them directly by using the email comments on their home page located here: http://www.graysoncoherbaltea.com/index.html

OOO...those sound great! Â*The closest thing we have to a 'tea store' here is the Mennonite settlement outside of Scottsville Ky. Â*Every summer, they usually have dried lemon balm, peppermint and occasionally chamomile and comfrey. Â*thelma6954 wrote:

Yep, it's fine. We don't sell tea at the CL Store so there's no competition issues. [smile]walking_spirit wrote:
