Ticks
A couple years ago before we got our dogs on Frontline we were having a tick problem. Â*They would come in on the dogs when I brought them in for the night. Apparently they would feed until bloated and drop off somewhere in the house later to be found by a squealing me. Â*They looked like large grey pebbles. Â*Just pure disgusting!!
Anyway, the weather is heating up here in Georgia this week so flea and tick season is underway. Â*Well today I saw a rock or pebble under a table and reached down and picked it up. Â*As soon as I picked it up I realized it wasn't a rock as it was squishy and cold. Â*I squealed silly while my 2 girls, Michaela and Lily were watching perplexed. Â*They know that mommy doesn't mind critters such as snakes, spiders and other typical creepy crawlies so they knew it must be something hideous. Â*My 7 yo immediately guessed what it was and went over to look. Â*She squealed as well and ran over to me. Â*I even called my husband at work and told him as I needed to give him some extra convincing that it was time to get CC on Frontline. Â*After that I got the broom and dustpan. While the girls were hovered over I swept the ugly bloated thing into the dustpan. Â*The 7 yo then flatly says,"Mommy...that's a grape. Lily threw it at me a few days ago!" Â*Upon closer inspection I confirmed it and we all had a good laugh! Â*

I agree with Althaea, on top of that try having him relax and meditate before bed. If it helps have him keep a journal near by and record the instances as best as he can. But, definitely go through a...
