Re: Ants (How to move them Out!
Check out these two older threads on ants. There should be some good advice in them about how to get rid of ants, and good luck!!

Try putting ground ceyanne pepper in and around the hole where the ants are gettinh in. You could mix some in with your potting soil too. It won't hurt the plants. As a bonus it keeps the cats away from the flower pots too.

I Will try anything and you know it is bad when the phone jack is near your bed and you pull back covers...and no I don't eat in bed and you find 10 ants in your bed..and just put on fresh bedding. My mom also told me to put caulking around the jack too.[rolleyes][nonsense][nonsense][eek]

Re: Ants (How to move them Out!
Can you track "em by following their path and find where they're actually entering your house? If so, you can concentrate on killing them at the source before they get anywhere near your fish tank. By the way, do you store the fish food nearby? If so, they could be attracted to the fish food.Pebbles wrote:

Re: Ants (How to move them Out!
I have tried tracking them, even lifted up the carpets to try and find them expecting to find a swarm of them, but there was only one or two around. I have now put ant killer all round the outside of the house and around the living room where the tank is. Hopefully this will work.thelma6954 wrote:
