Yes...
The Universe is not so subtile in it's response sometimes. Is it?

Re: A Mouse in the House
if you have friends with cats, try buying some small pillows, big enough for the cat to lay on and leave them at the friends house with the cat. Encourage the cat(s) to lay all over them etc. Then place the pillows around your home near where you think the rodents may enter.
I admit, as far as Jedi mindtricks go, this isn't very ellaborate. But mice have brains about the size of a pencil eraser.... it might work.
I've heard of this on the home and garden channel. Can't vouch for how effective it will be since I dont have a mouse problem (4 cats here) just a flea problem. To get rid of fleas I tried giving the Orkin man some pillows to lounge on..... but that didn't work......

I can just picture the mice chewing and shredding up the pillows for nesting/bedding. They are clever and industrious creature, afterall. [smile]

Re: A Mouse in the House
I too hesitate to disagree with a post, but the sticky trap is the cruelest thing I have ever seen. I tried one and that was enough for me. The mouse got his eyeball stuck and pulled his own eye out trying to free himself. Mice will shriek in pain which is horrible to hear. The sticky trap needs to be banned and off the market. Get a catch-em alive trap and free them.

Hav-a-heart makes a multi-mouse, catchem live trap. I've only seen it at Mom&Pop hardwares...Looks like it would work. You'd need to take them far away, or they would come right back

I have tryed the glue traps and all I cought was my 13month old son, poor little man only has half his eyebrows now!!! And to boot the mice haven`t even helped with my roch problem!!! I think I have a hole farm of things in my house, lizzards, to. I have tryed everything, even the cat can`t get them, and she is a great mouser. And u`d think liveing in the city would help! any Ideas would be helpfull.

wow I thought I had it bad when the field mice come into play in the winter. I can't stand them. I just wish they would find there own home not in mine. I have know clue. We just find where they get in & block it off but of course they find another or have another. my cat was to lazy he would only hunt when he felt like it even if it ran right in front of him. O will cat nap I swear he was thinking lol

I agree with Althaea, on top of that try having him relax and meditate before bed. If it helps have him keep a journal near by and record the instances as best as he can. But, definitely go through a...
