That is amazing! I hope when my daughter reaches adulthood that our bond stays as strong.

I did this once but mine was almost embarrasing

I chanted, meditated, everything and anything I could do to try to astra project and this went on for years, finally I gave up

ariound that time I was laying in my bed and hitting that just so relaxed stage that you feel mabie your heading to sleep but yet you still have complete control, you know everything going on around you etc..suddenly I lifted out of my body I could see myself laying on the bed...so what did I do (covers face) freaked..I suddenly freaked all I know is its a wonder i didnt break my bones as hard as I shot back into myself. I was petrified and I still dont know why

my story sad as it is lol

I had almost an identical experience. I was 8 and was in my room, laying on my bed, waiting for my mom to tell me I was allowed out of my room (I had gotten myself into trouble again[lol]) and I started to doze off. Suddenly I was bumping against the ceiling! I looked down and saw my body laying on the bed. And I panicked! Next thing I knew I was slamming back into my body (ow).

Since then I haven't been able to astral travel without help except on the occassional time where I wake up and remember a dream about it, though I don't really know if In was actually dreaming or if it was really astral projection >_<

Astral travel is easier when we are younger because normally we are more open. When I say more open it is because our mind, our consciousness, has not yet been conditioned by authority figures and therefore our Superego or gatekeeper of the mind, not empowered yet. AS a result we are more apt to allow ourselves to believe in what most call fanciful ideas about what is and what is not impossible in this reality. AS we get older the conditioning of society tells us that paranormal abilities, other realms, travel between dimensions, energy entities is not "real" and therefore our own consciousness sets limits on our paranormal abilities. Think of it like this- we basically train our mind to limit our abilities. In the past this has been pummeled into our superego conditioning through science, but in the 21st century science is finally catching up with the occult.

Did you know that over the past 20 years there has been a fantastic change of mind in physics, a reversal if you will, regarding dimensions and the possibility of inter-dimensional travel. You see that is what you are doing when you astral travel. You are separating your mind/consciousness from your physical shell and traveling to these other dimensions.

The Oroboros is the magic symbol of the serpent eating its own tail, a symbol I think for when science split apart from occult in an effort to understand Nature, or the mind of Creator, and the ultimate re-unification. It was what Einstein was searching for when he tried to compose the Grand Unification Theory. Since about 1980 scientists have been trying to use the theory of the Big Bang (singularity of physics) to solve the unification force. Of these Lisa Randall from Harvard university and others came up with a way to describe how the Big Bang occurred. They started off realizing in the Uncertainty Principle that the reason they couldn't find electrons at specific mathematical probabilities is because they must in fact be co-existing in different universes/dimension. A new theory began forming. In this "M-Theory" they figured out in very basic terms that there is not one single universe but in fact many universes, a little out of phase with one another, layered on top of another-the Multiverse. That the Big Bang Singularity was caused by two Membranes or "Branes" of different universes colliding with one another and that gravity, the weakest force in the universe is actually leaking from this other universe/membrane into our own left over from this interaction. That each of these Branes are composed of all the stuff of the universal matrix which is actually vibrating strings. That Branes and superstrings are all interconnected and only kept apart basically by different "vibrational frequencies" of 11 dimensions of space/time. In effect parallel universes. But in order to prove this they have to create an experiment, or show evidence of this thru mathematics.

Does this sound familiar? It should. You see naguals, or shamans, or whatever you want to call them have already known this for potentially tens of thousands of years and used it in their teachings. (I am going with the Atlantean time line which puts the creation of humankind at about 200,000 years ago.) Many authors explain the "layer cake" of the dimensions and how perception and use of dreaming technique was utilized to access these various dimensions. This is especially true of the teachings of the Toltecs as related in the Don Juan Matus (Carlos Castaneda) books. Something always intrigued me about these books was the way they explained that Naguals were born fundamentally different which can be viewed through their spirit form and that was how they recognized who to take as apprentices. They said that while normal humans had a more bubble like shape, or even tombstone like shape (the ancients) that naguals would shift their "assemblage points", their seat of awareness through lucid dreaming and psychoactive drug stimulation so that their spirit form looked like a pipe and a bowl, extremely elongonated. Why was that important? Why does that mean that because of this these people can then do these amazing magical feats?

Spider Woman was said to create the universe through music. Doesn't that sound a lot like the physicist theory of vibrating strings working in a harmonic resonance with one another to create these large membranes? I think however, that based on my own research there is actually 13 dimensions, not 11, mostly because of the prevalence in all aspects of occult and in all religions. Next consider the assemblage point- the point where all the light fibers (strings) that anchor us to the three dimensional world assemble and provide us with awareness of how to perceive the world around us. Shamans shift their assemblage points through opening the filter of their brain's awareness to access the Multiverse and perform magic, and astral travel. They do this through a variety of methods: pyshoactive drugs, althetic feats, heat extremes or cold extremes, dreaming awake - in basic terms they change their hypothalumus and methinks their 3rd eyes perception to elongonate their assemblage point to make a long super-string that connects to all the various parallel universes. Think of the power of being able to connect to all the various parallel universes in which the laws of physics are different in each one. All you then need to be able to do is to use your will/intent to imagine your manifestation, and because it can exist in one of the parallel universes you can then manifest it through your spirit's connection into an energy manifestation in our own. That is the definition of magic then. And what is the proof of this? If it is true that atomic particles/waves exist in multiple universes, and we are composed of these things, that our brain must allow for this and it does. Our brain allows the energy to be balanced through allowing us to slip into the other dimensions through DREAMING. This is why there is such a strong connection to dreaming in all the indigenous shamanic work. And that is why they never needed to understand how they did it, they just learned the techniques for shifting their brain into crossing over into these parallel universes through "dreaming awake" as they call it. In effect they taught their brains how to dissociate the energy body (spirit+consciousness) from the physical form just like how we do in dreamtime. This is then called Astral traveling or out of body experiences in the metaphysical world. But basically all humans must sleep and dream or our physical form suffers. In effect we have to allow ourselves to connect to the Multiverse or blink out of existence energetically.

Things that make me go hmmm,

I have only one experience with astral traveling but I have had more success with "far viewing". This occurs when you meditate and desire to see something at a distance in your minds eye. Usually it is a view from above the scene as in astral travel. I never experience the feeling I have left my body at all but can see something that is far off. To quit "seeing" I simply open my eyes. As anyone else had any experience with this?

I think it is also called more commonly REMOTE VIEWING. I have done this with dreaming, gone to places and kind of flown through them, which I would otherwise not be able to have seen. I especially remember a quite vivid experience where I saw the artic and the beautiful blue ice of icebergs melting as they made their way across the sea. Even the government has dedicated CIA training to this for spying. I think that recently there was a movie made about it, but I have forgotten the title. In "The Montauk Experiment" they talk about remote viewing extensively.
