Well...went out to check the garden this morning and pick some more of the peas, and my damned mutt had gone out and picked the lone cucumber along with about half the plant!!!! It looked like he had tried to take a bite and didn't care for the taste. I think I may have a dead dog when the husband gets home from school. He was really looking forward to picking that cuke himself. I salvaged it, but that is just not the same. [lol]

I feel you I have one CAT and I have three that thinks she should eat or at least taste every plant I own and I have a forest in the house I have to put them up as high as they to or move them to other room that she can't have access to! (Has puked them up on the carpet!)

Befor you blame Fido check if you have a groundhog. That sounds like one. They made us crazy at the farm. It woulden't have been so bad if they ate a pumpkin or two, but they took bites our of six or seven of them and then left them to rot. [frown]

The guilty look said it all. The cuke was also clear across the yard from the garden where it started. Also, the dog had left teeth marks in the cuke, so it was pretty incriminating.[lol]
