Well since the rain we had here..My backyard looks like a jungle! It is going to be fun mowing it and trying to cut back vines! [tongue]and I have a reel mower! [tongue]

Oh, I am SO sorry!!! I really sympathize. We had a mower die because it thought that it was overworked.

The wet newspaper thing sounds like an interesting try, as does the vinegar. I gave them a good cussing out the other night and told them they had to find another place to grow. My squash was galvanised by the pep talk I gave them as was the pumpkin, its grown a couple of inches since then. Too little, too late, I am afraid. My husband promises that next year the garden will be even better.....Now to keep the dog out.....

Be glad of the comfortable temps. We've been in the ninety's and its still hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. Because of all the heat, my excersize regimen has fallen by the wayside and I can't seem to get myself to get off my rear and go in the evenings. [lol]

I am also glad for the 90's but it is still too hot for my blood..yard work for me is a salty bath and the Honeysuckle has declared war on me and a vine with berries has surrounded the back of the house! On any wire it finds![rolleyes][rolleyes][rolleyes][tongue]

Yes LINN I know of Anti Monkey Butt My mom bought me some with the monkey with the red butt on the front in a yellow container..I am out and we can't find anymore in was in the reduced items![tongue]Also I will have to see what left on Bills they rasied the bus fair to $65 dollars monthly to even go online![tongue]I am sick of being broke and I hate summer(sigh)[cry]
