    Default Past Life Reading

    Hi all!

I have recently had a past life reading and found out a couple of interesting things. I was told that I was born in Yugoslavia as a male in the 1300`s and that I was a hunter/warrior, and my lifes lessons are to learn humility and devotion to spiritual principles.

So, I was wondering, how many of you have a had a past life reading done, and if you havent is it something that you would consider doing? Or like my fiance says, do you think its all a load of nonsense?!

I've never had a past life reading done, and it is something I would consider later on. But I think the best person to delve into my past lives is me...I want to practice more meditative work on the subject, so that I can go deeper into my subconscious and draw out those memories.

I had a past life reading done several years ago and it was...interesting. Â*My reader claimed I had 'come through' the Pleiades from somewhere else and I've been here ever since. Â*(I half agree with your fiance on that score. [lol]) Â*Apparently, most of my lives have involved the priesthood of some kind, including something that was similar to Druidism. Â*Perhaps that's why I'm so adverse to the idea of the priesthood yet drawn to the imagery of it at the same time.

So, was it all 'true'? Â*Heck if I know. Â*There's no way to verify most of the stuff I was told during my reading. Â*It was entertaining, though, so I guess that's all that really matters. Â* Â*

    Thanks for your replys!

I agree with you Azra, there is no way to verify if any of the readings given are true but it was entertaining reading/thinking about it!!

When I first read the reading, I have to say I was a little disappointed at first... I dont know why, because I didnt even know what to expect it to say in the first place!! Maybe I thought it would of said that Id done something more exciting... who knows?!!

    Hi Pebbles,

I do think people have past lives and that they imprint on what I would call our soul's DNA. I don't necessarily believe that everyone tells you the truth about your past lives, but that they tell people what they like to hear because they are getting paid, for the most part. There are some honest witches out there though, and so be prepared to hear things that you might not like about yourself. I think you have to temper what you hear with common sense. Because people are egomaniacs, they don't want to hear about how they spent a past life as a farmer LOL. I have some pretty funny stuff about past lives that really I don't know about.

Think about this: we have so many past lives and sometimes our souls become used to that energy. For example, when I went to a New Age spiritual retreats a woman told me she wouldn't work with me. I was kind of upset and one of the other apprentices came up to me because he saw I was dejected. He was also gay and I thought that the reason she wouldn't work with me was because I was gay, so I was confused. He told me no, it was because I spent so many lifetimes as a warrior. I asked him what he meant and he told me I spent almost 7 lifetimes as a gladiator/Roman soldier, and also as a knight, and so there was a lot of violence and blood, and that's why she didn't want to work with me. I asked how he knew that and he said he could still see my helmet and armour! (And that I was hot as a male soldier hahahahaha). And it is funny, even to this day I choose sports that are violent like football that has a helmet and in my occupation I wear a hard hat most of the time. So I could probably see myself being a warrior in past lives.

A second time I was at this spiritual retreat for a weekend in the southwest with a New Age teacher and they were doing past live readings for the students. I elected not to go which angered my teacher. It wasn't because I was trying to piss her off I just knew about the warrior thing and I didn't want them going nuts on me. Anyway I was hanging out in this divination area in the desert waiting for my friend to go. I was kind of like a copse of those Joshua trees with these giant black bowls with water that were scrying bowls. I was just staring into them. I guess my friend told the elder who was giving the past life readings where I was because she came down there and was pissy. She told me that I couldn't run from my past lives and I told her that I wasn't trying to, I just didn't think it was necessary. She told me that it was important to some life events in this life that I knew about a certain key past life because I would meet many of the players in this lifetime. She then proceeded to tell me that I was this very famous person and that in this lifetime almost the same pattern would occur. And those who wronged me in this past life would have the opportunity to correct their karma with me but that she didn't think they would and I would have to be prepared for that outcome to transpire once again. At this point my friend came back to meet me and she told her that she could stay. I was like, ok, I guess I should ask who? This little old lady then said she didn't believe I didn't know. I assured her I did not. She shook her head and said that the teacher's retreat I was at was one of the people I would have to interact with once again, and that this teacher knew it and was surprised she hadn't told me. My friend, who was destined to become one of the power people in this teacher's school told the elder that was the purpose of this teaching. The elder just glared at my friend and then said my teaching would be about the betrayal of friends and authority figures, just like what happened to Joan of Arc. I was like, what do you mean? She patted my hand and said that I was Joan of Arc in one of my past lives. My friend got very upset and told the elder that she wasn't supposed to tell me that and ran out of there. I looked at this little old lady and said, "It's ok you don't have to tell me I was someone famous, I don't really care if I was famous in a past life, I'm really not here for that. That maybe because I have such a strong Artemis-like nature that was coming through." She got all pissed off at me, angry that I wouldn't believe her and told me that I should watch out for hidden enemies and left all in a huff.

Later that year this famous New Age teacher, with 20 books and a worldwide following went nuts on me for no reason, kicked me out of her coven on trumped up reasons that were not true. She had all the witches in the coven who were the ruling elite take me down and even my friend betrayed me. To this day I am excommunicated and everyone whom I was friends with was told I was pure evil from the 8th dimension and not allowed to speak to me.

I think the whole thing was very funny, that these women took this all so seriously, because I'm just a nerd from New Jersey.

things that make me go hmmmm,
    JB

    Hi Jayne

    Thanks for sharing your experiences!
I cant believe the way your so called friends reacted to you.... then again, I cant really say anything as my friends arent exactly waht you would call reliable people!!

I suppose I did take the reading seriously at first, I was desperate to have one done for some reason, even I dont know why as silly as that sounds!!

I have heard that past life regression is the best thing to have as you go into your subconious to unlock certain memories... have I got that right? Thats what my mums friend told me it was but I dont really know too much about the subject.

Im actually thinking I should just leave well alone now and just be happy with the reading I had done.
This probably sounds like alot of rambling now, but Im just curious and theres so many different things going on in my head at the moment lol.
Think I`ll leave it here for now... [rolleyes]

I've always wanted to have a past life reading done. How do they go about it? And how do you find someone reliable?

I would love to have a past life reading done. I just do not know anyone who does them. I think it would be an amazing experience.

I agree, I would need to know a bit about the person before I would agree to one.
