Bad Nightmares
hey i really do need some advise.
im pretty much an insomniac but not by choice. i love to sleep and wish i could do more but these dreams just keep getting stuck in my head and it runs into my day routine.
they are vivid, like im actually living them. i feel like it may be from a past life but its not like im reliving them its more like im being trained?
they are similar yet very different and sometimes they repeat. a man in a black robe with his face hidden is the one who runs the show, giving me tasks to do like in one dream it was my job to collect an item from each of the 13 girls and it was their hearts. i won and then got the prize and that was waking up. (it was like America's Next Top Model only bloodier).
after this dream when i woke up my hands were red from my blood rushing to them and they were painful.. i also had various black and blues from when i remember running and falling in the dream. which is probably from me kicking the wall in my sleep but still its freaky.
is there anything that can help? insense? candles? prayers? ive tried books to help me sleep better. i even have a dream catcher. but its starting to feel hopeless. [confused]

Re: Bad Nightmares
Do you feel like you know who this man is? Maybe you could try to "dehood" him. And maybe keep a journal of these dreams. I will send positive energy to you. Hope that may help a little!

Re: Bad Nightmares
Have you tried a spell of protection? Maybe create/compose one that will keep unwanted "visitors" away, both dream ones and awake-real-life ones.

Re: Bad Nightmares
I have tried a protection spell but its almost like he's too powerful for it. i know spells are all about will and ive been trying to stay positive but im sortof losing hope with this.
i feel like i do know the man, his presense feels soo familiar. maybe a very close connection with him at some point but ive never felt like i know who it is in the waking world...
thanks both of you for your suggestions and positive energy. im going to try another protection spell with my friend whos been keeping me calm through this.
and as an update i did try to dehood him. he didnt like that and grabbed my bad wrist (i had surgery a couple of weeks ago and its not healed that much) needless to say its red and bruised at the moment but it was worth it. i saw that he had green eyes maybe that could help.
again thanks if you have any more advise id love to hear it

Re: Bad Nightmares
Well, the problem is that even in this written forum you have given him power over you with your mind, and your mind, your subconscious has already incorporated this into your dream. "H is too powerful" you say. That belief has enabled him to have power over you, but in actuality this is a free-will universe and no being has power over another, unless you allow them. Keep in mind the reason you cannot see his face may be far simpler than you can imagine; he is your dark shadow side, giving you tasks to perform to satisfy his nature. This is what some call facing your dark side and the point is to overcome his influence over you- not perform the tasks he gives you.
I would suggest that you look up magick symbols on the internet about dreaming. Find a symbol of protection for dreaming that resonates with you. Whatever you can remember that is simple. Then you create a talisman of dreaming that you can wear at night when you dream. I make them with FIMO clay, wood, whatever is easy for you based on the symbol and wear it around your neck. Before you start doing this perform a ceremony that will allow it to provide protection from this entity. I would make it from clay and incorporate some of your DNA (hair, nail, blood, semen) into the talisman. Also grind up some mugwort or attach it to the talisman with glue. This will make a potent protection that you only need to grab onto in the dream for protection. When you do so say, "I am a child of the Creator, a child of Light and you have no power over me, begone." Imagine the Goddess infusing within you her LIGHT, and imagine a globe of golden light around you, preventing him from touching you. This should be enough to rid him from your dreams and allow you sleep. If it doesn't call an Archangel to help you fight him. Negative entities of any kind, demons, shadows, ghosts (if they are evil) will immediately depart when an Archangel comes, and they will if you evoke them on behalf of a good request.
namaste,
JB

Re: Bad Nightmares
I use to have really bad nightmares about an ex. The ones where he would hunt me down and kill me and my loved ones. One dream I stood up to him and told him he no longer had that kind of power over me and could not hurt me anymore. The dreams became less and less until they stopped altogether. When I feel as if I am going to have bad dreams I go to a safe place and put up all kind of protection untill I am awake and able to be aware again. Mine is a room filled with love and light. I have put in different symbols over the years. I know that once that door is shut behind me nothing bad will get in.
Best of luck and I hope peaceful dreams make ther way to you soon.

Re: Bad Nightmares
today is the day i stood up to him i mean last night...
in the dream he made me kill kittens except my own. and in a creul joke he made me stab mine "by accident".
of course i became furious and started screaming at him and going after him with every skill he taught me. yelling that this was it i am not hurting the people that i love anymore.
this is a significant change and im actually eager to go to sleep and see what happens.
thank you all for your prayers, and help.. i appreciate it greatly! ill keep everyone updated.
really thanks
