Divination to me is listening to the Divine ~ your God for messages
My favorite divination tool is what I call *street mail* ~ You watch what life puts in front of you and get your message ~ Billboards ~ Bumperstickers ~ people in line at the store say something that rings true for you ~ Nature ~ animals etc. ~ Even watching the people around you *mirror image* will give you clues to yourself! To me this is so fun....it is always an adventure!

I pretty much stick to a straight definition since it describes it fairly accurately. To me, Divination is the practice of seeking and receiving information through supernatural means in order to reveal something hidden or concealed with the purpose of gaining knowledge.

I agree with you fate.... I have been trying to pay more attention to these "signs" as I go through my day to day.... Sometimes I don't "see" what I need to, and then I refer to tarot, runes, or the pendulum...

Cate,
Yes people still read entrails. It is mostly the tribes of South America and Africa that still read entrails. There are also groups that fallow a Druid (not ADF sanctioned), Hoo Doo/Voo Doo, Santaria, Tribal Religions, and various others that still read entrails.

Welcome to Cauldron Living! "Historical storyteller", does that mean you do the in-costume historical re-enacting at places? I've always enjoyed that sort of interpretation, it's a great way to...
