Divination Invention
Do you think that just about every form of divination has been explored? Or do you think perhaps there are new forms of divination to be discovered? Have you invented any new form of divination yourself?

Re: Divination Invention
Thelma's article on the different types of divination exposed alot of ways I had never thought of. I have tried to practice the ones she has listed to see if they work for me. Some are quite natural to me and work beautifully.
BBG, do you have a favorite?

Re: Divination Invention
HMMMMMMMMM a favorite? I would say I enjoy several types of divination, so for the sake of over stating I will list my top five in no specific order.
Tarot
Ogham
Geomancy - I'm learning this currently.
Tasseography - Not just tea leaves.
Ceromancy
OOOH there are so many more I would like to learn and experience but I enjoy these five the most.

I play with Rune Symbols in the trees and on the path when walking in the woods ~ Seeing the same symbol frequently can give me a message ~ I also Let Spirit give me the symbols to tell me a message...instead of asking a question ~ makes the hike more of an Adventure! [grin][cool]

That sounds so peaceful Fate. It seems like a combonation of Ceromancy, Clairvoyance, and Omens. It has been so long since I got a chance to walk through nature. Perhaps, I'll take a trip this weekend. *Sigh* I miss it so much.

Re: Divination Invention
I guess you can label it what you want ~ I have no label for the messages whatever way they want to come to me ~ Sometimes messages come in new forms of divination that you have no label for ~ it is the openness to the Divine that will bring on the message...not really the form of Divination ~ [cool]

Re: Divination Invention
I agree with that. Forms of divination are just tools of the trade. I can use my shoe to nail something to the wall just as well as I can use a hammer. [wink] Perhaps we will call your form Fateomancy. HHEHEHEHEH [grin]
