The Celtic Tree Calendar: The Uses of a Fake Calendar

Let us first state the purpose of this article. It is my intention to offer the diminutive in regards to the authenticity of the "Celtic Tree Calendar." From there I will purpose that though this calendar is indeed a forged piece of history, it still serves a great purpose to the Wiccan and Eclectic Pagan community.
In regards to this calendar's authenticity, its invention can be mainly accredited to Robert Graves, an English "scholar" and poet who wrote a book called "The White Goddess." He suggests that Edward Davies, a founder of the Druidic Revival had unknowingly found in Ruairí Ó Flaitheartaigh's book "Ogygia," (Ogham) the ancient calendar of the Druids.
