Great Serpent Mound in Ohio, Maeshowe in Scotland, Stonehenge in England -- what do
these places created and used by different peoples across time have in common? They
are among the ancient sites aligned with the rising and/or setting of the Winter
Solstice Sun. Selena Fox talks about these and some other Winter Solstice sites,
ancient and contemporary, including the Stone Circle she helped create at Circle
Sanctuary Nature Preserve near Barneveld, Wisconsin. She also shares ideas for
celebrating Winter Solstice at sacred sites.
