Re: CL Book Club - Suggestions......
I concur, although I'd give it 3.5 brooms out of five (haaaaaaaaaaa love that LINN - fantastic!)
Very clear and concise basic stuff although she does take it marginally further. I especially liked the Reiving, Banishing and warding section.
Well worth a read in any case
(I think we're supposed to start a new topic per book - I'll start one)

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here, but I'm interested and joining the group and was wondering how to do that. Thanks so much for your help! Sorry for any inconvenience.~Bee

By posting on this thread that you want to join, you just joined! It's as simple as that. [smile]Windandsummer wrote:

There may still be time if you're interested in jumping in on the current book that's being discussed because I believe there are still some who haven't finished the book yet even though the deadline was May 1st. But, this is a pretty casual group, and if people say they need more time, LINN, who moderates this forum and this group, is very good about extending the deadline so that everyone who wants to take part can do so. Or, you can wait and take part in the next book choice once that's selected. It's up to you, and I'm sure LINN will post a clarification about the deadline soon.

Finished it last night. Â*I guess it would be an okay starter book but since she wanted to help the novice, I do think she should have gotten a bit more detailed. Â*
There was a 'glaze over' to the book that could leave many questions. Â*There was also a feeling of shallowness and just walking thru the steps she laid out. Â*Maybe it was the lack of prayer and reverence. Â*My favorite page was 52. Â*It had a familiar Atlantean quality to it.
But the whole book feels unfinished. Â*It had a 'rushed' vibe.
I wouldn't suggest this book to a novice but its an okay book to have in your library for ideas and references.
Will we do a chat on this?
Blessed Be

Re: CL Book Club - Suggestions......
LINN, rest assured that you weren't "premature," my friend. You posted on May 4th, after the deadline. My comment was aimed at your clarifying if you're going to extend the deadline date. And if so, to what date, to either allow others to finish it or give anyone else who wants to take part the time to get the book and quickly read it.LINN wrote:

I agree with Althaea, on top of that try having him relax and meditate before bed. If it helps have him keep a journal near by and record the instances as best as he can. But, definitely go through a...
