You guys MUST check out this three-dvd special by David Icke.

He has done his research and what he has found cannot be totally proven, but it can't be disproven at all. He investigates the evolution of religions and the source of myths and the amazing similarities in all religions and the symbols that we use and the way we think. He argues a few things that I don't necessarily believe but that are credible, and on other things, he can't be argued with, and he draws attention to some interesting "commonalities" and "trends". It's some esotericism, lots of history and a ton of fun.

It's amazing, scary and enlightening.

Doesn't he also believe that the world is run by a group of shape-shifting reptiles....? [confused]

However.. on the similarities between religions I'll have to agree with him (never thought I'd see the day...)

He goes into a lot of detail about a race of aliens that landed in Sumeria and formed a hybrid race...blah blah blah

But that doesn't discredit the things he talks about in terms of religions and their symbols... and all the commonalities...It's VERY interesting. Get past the reptilean/humnan race (which he claims are the keepers of the knowledge that will set us humans free...and he provides some pretty compelling evidence for the idea that all the world leaders are member of secret societies and are all connected in some way) and you'll see that it's a very intriguing documentary.
