If you like fantasy, pick up "The Dark-Elf Trilogy" by R.A. Slavatore. It's actually 3 books in one.

Thanks for the tip Redwoodbob, I saw this one at the library recently but desided to pass at that time. Now I will try it.[smile]

Re: What are you Reading???
I really enjoyed this book! I went out and bought the second one, "Eldest", but I've yet to read it. I think I'll reread the first one, though, because it's been awhile.Nader wrote:
I am currently reading "Eragon".
But I do hope to finish it by the fall.
As for more recommendations... these are nonfiction, which I've been getting more into recently, courtesy of my recent interest in paganism.
"Paganism", Joyce and River Higginbotham
"Beyond Religion", David. N. Elkins
"Chakras for Beginners", David Pond
"The Four Agreements", Don Miguel Ruiz
This last one I'm still working on:
"The Everything Paganism Book", Selene Silverwind

Re: What are you Reading???
For one of the fun reads you might want to try Kim Harrison. They are fiction but can really give you a character to sink your teeth into. Great story about a witch thats a PI and has some of the most believable writing I have seen in a long time. YUMMY good guys and even YUMMIER bad guys.[cool]

Re: What are you Reading???
I'm currently re-reading Lammas, by Anna Franklin and Paul Mason, in order to prepare for the upcoming holiday!
I've also been skimming Celebrating the Pagan Soul, a collection of short non-fiction pieces about how various people came to Paganism, how they knew it was for them, and their experiences.
For fiction, I've got 101 Wicked Little Witch Stories, another collection (short stories are excellent for summer, no?). Be warned: most of them are the warty-old-hag-brewing-love-potions variety, but they're a lot of fun regardless.
For some meatier fiction, I'm about to pick up Michael Crichton's The Great Train Robbery again. It's based loosely on an actual event that took place in Victorian England, and it's great.

Re: What are you Reading???
I just got done reading The Elements of Ritual by Deborah Lipp. Great book looking at the individual parts of a Wicca derived ritual and examining them in detail.
Right now I'm reading Intelligent Thought: Science Versus the Intelligent Design Movement Ed. by John Brockman. So far very interesting.

At the moment I'm re-reading the "Harry Potter" books as I need something light weight that I can pick up & put down easily cos I'm too busy to sit down & get engrossed in a new book.
